This piece is even more dramatic and beautiful in person. The use of light in the center, brush strokes on the dress and trees and filtering light, contrasting with the abstract elements on the extended edges make this piece an excellent combination of several styles -- combining to enhance the drama of the piece... Isn't that what we are all wanting; drama and emotional movement from the content taking us beyond simple reproduction of the subjects. My style is French, architectural salvage, antique shabby, chic. This piece will ROCK in my personal haven (bedroom), with 4 kids between 16 and 21 years old and 3 in college, heaven knows I need it!
